Come meet neighbors and discuss the next steps before the next PACS meeting!
NEXT PACS MEETING! PLEASEshow up, email in, or zoom in and advocate for Moon Park to the city. Thursday, March 12th, 6pm City Hall 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92626
Unsightly gang affiliated grafitti visually scars an otherwise beautiful location. City dollars spent constantly cleaning up a mess!
QUESTIONABLE ACTIONS
Daily vagrants make use of the park and keep families and children away with unsafe and questionable actions including drug use and leaving paraphernalia.
RUSTED EQUIPMENT
Unsafe and aged equipment is beyond repair. The unfit equipment is both a safety hazard and has a total lack of accessibility for all abilities.
The goal of our project is to create an improved, safe and accessible park for all ages of our neighborhood to enjoy and cherish for generations to come.
Nestled in the State Street of lovely Mesa Verde Costa Mesa, Moon Park has become victimized by trash, homelessness and disrepair through lack of city funding. The once beautiful homage to our great nations landing on the moon is now cracked, molded, and a sore sight. What the neighborhood needs is a place of brightness, community and joy, we have the dark side of the moon.
The Improvement Plan
NEW EQUIPMENT
Safe, Accessible and Upgraded Park Equipment for multiple ages and abilities
ENCLOSED SPACE
Adding a protective barrier to the homelessness plaguing the Santa Ana River Trail
PUBLIC SPACE
Granting Event Space permits will invite investment and community gatherings
A NEW MOON
